Ella Adventures

Let's see... what sort of new adventures has Ella had...

Ella has rolled over a few times, but does not seem super eager to do it again. She moves around pretty well by wiggling on her back. She's got a new noise as well. I really can't describe it, but it's cute. She belly laughs sometimes and that is too cute! Ella still loves to chew on her hands, and has even found her thumb a few times. Perhaps we'll have a thumb sucker? I really don't mind either way.... paci or thumb. I think the thumb is a better thing, she can't loss her thumb. (Well at least I hope she does not loss her thumb.)

We've had plenty of adventures and outings in the last month or so....

We went to Alex's 6th birthday party and has a good time. We got him a really cool kit to make a robot bug out of a soda can. We found it at the coolest toy store. (www.toysandco.com) We will definitely go back to get fun stuff for Ella. We want to get her the wooden Radio Flyer bike for Christmas. :) It was really fun looking at kids toys. I have not done that in a while.

We met up with a Widjiwagan friend who lives in Charlotte. It was a nice evening out for yummy pizza. Ella managed to get her pinky finger stuck in the outdoor table, which made her sad for a little while. While there I needed to change her and thank goodness for our hatch back car! It's a great place to change a baby. I think Kia should advertise the Rondo as a baby changing car.

This weekend we are going to a folk festival in Charlotte and a worldwide breast feeding week festival in Davidson. It should be fun. I look forward to looking at art we can't afford at the folk festival and visiting with lots of breast feeding moms (including my friend Liz) and seeing cute boob babies at the Davidson event. :)

Ella's New Discovery... Her Hands

Photobucket

I can't believe how fast Ella is growing and changing. She is almost 4 months old already.. wow! Recently she has discovered her hands. It's the cutest thing. She holds them together and looks kind of like Mr. Burns. She also loves to chew on them. She was never a really big fan of her paci, but now she has no interest in it at all. Who wants a paci when you've got hands?! :)

Welcome to Ella Bella Bean

Greetings family & friends near and far! :)

I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog to document the many adventures of the Holleran family, Ella specifically. (Philip, Bode, Teddy, & I are not nearly as exciting.) Enjoy!
